I purchased this Samsung HW-C560S set a few canicule ago, which includes the reciever, speakers, remote, ipod berth and cables. I absorbed it up to my Samsung Blu-Ray amateur with a Samsung 46″ LCD.
The Good:
- Center approach complete is not bad, actual bright accent on movies.
- Included cable speakers were absolutely long, able to ability the aback corners of the room.
The Bad:
- Foreground L and R speakers and subwoofer bass can complete actual “boxy” at times
- Arena Call of Duty 4 on XBOX 360 was a HUGE disappointment. I accepted the brittle and acceptable allegiance of bullets pinging and dinging, but the all-embracing complete was mid/bass abundant with addled treble. What a decay of an alarming gaming experience.
- The Audio Complete Calibration (ASC) accessory alone fabricated things worse, and through calibrating my allowance fabricated my rear speakers awfully loud, and the foreground speakers horridly quiet.
- The iPod berth is counterintuitive, and absolutely unusable. Having a party? Someone grabs an iPod and says “check out this song”? Already the iPod is placed into the dock, the iPod card controls are disabled, and you MUST cross your library with your Samsung remote. In addition, already you accept the limited in duke you cross your songs alphabetically, absence advanced and astern to acquisition your song. The affectation reads 3 of 30,000, 4 of 30,000, etc. Seriously? This makes the iPod berth pointless, unusable, and is an blamable interface architecture flaw.
- The Setup interface consists of one band of affectation argument on the receiver unit. The first is of my father was about 1-2 years ago, still works very well ... but everything fails, it is only a Blu-ray and nothing special speakers.
